Below
you'll find an overview of the games I prefer playing, with screenshots
(click the hyperlinked keywords) and
strategies. This of course doesn't mean you have to play these same games! When you
start, games like "Spectacular Wheel of Wealth" or "Lucky
Charmer" may not be a good idea. Those require you to bet $2 or $3 per
spin, meaning you should only play them when you are in for a gamble and
have some balance to spare (when you have been lucky playing another game).
With high-wager games like these, it's even more important to set a limit for yourself
of how often you will spin or how much your balance may drop before you quit
that game.
My favourite games:
(click on the name to go to the location of that game on this page)
1. Thunderstruck
2. Spring Break
3. Tally Ho
4. Tomb Raider
5. Secret Admirer
6. Good to Go
7. Ho Ho Ho
8. Ladies Night
9. What on Earth
10. Cabin Fever
11. Spectacular Wheel of Wealth
12. Lucky Charmer
Thunderstruck
Thunderstruck has been my favourite game for a long time now, for several
reasons. Most importantly that I love the free spin feature. This
free spin feature is triggered when your rolls display 3, 4 or 5 scatters
(in Thunderstruck scatters are rams).
|

|
When this scatter
appears 3, 4 or 5 times, you get 15 free spins at the wager you played at when
getting the scatters, and all wins during these 15 free spins are trippled! |
No matter if you get 3, 4, or even 5
scatters, you always receive 15 free spins. The only thing that changes is
the extra bonus you receive just for getting them.

For example: If you play at $2.25 per spin
and get 3 scatters, you win $11.25 and 15 free spins.
It's even more fun, when during this "free spin feature" you get 3
or more scatters again. You then "re-trigger the free spin
feature", meaning you get another 15 free spins! You can re-trigger the
free spin feature unlimited times!!
Because of how fast the rolls are spinning during this feature, it's hard to
get a nice looking screenshot, but this
one should give you an idea of what can happen.
Since Thunderstruck is my favourite game, I play it most and therefor have
the most screenshots of this game. If you'd like to see a screenshot of a
certain win, see if there's one available in the table below. By comparing
the wins in the screenshots to the payout table, you'll learn how the payout
schedule works.
The most important aspects of Thunderstruck's payout:
- Thor is "wild", meaning it can substitute for any other symbol
except for scatters
example
- a Thor in your winline doubles your win
compare this to this
- you can win on multiple lines in 1 spin
example
- during the "free spin feature",
all your wins are trippled
example
So where does that $150 come from?
the payout table says that 5 Thunders = 250 x your line bet
at wager $0.90 you bet $0.10 on 9 lines, so your line bet is $0.10
250 x $0.10 = $25
the Thor in the winline doubles your win = 2 x $25 = $50
the free spin feature tripples that win = 3 x $50 = $150
The different games have different wagering options, ranging between $0.09
and $90 per spin on the games I prefer playing. This means that when you
feel lucky, you can wager a higher amount per spin than when you just have
some time to spare and want to gamble for fun.
How to decide what wager to play at?
I usually devide my starting balance by 40 and round off to the nearest
wager amount below. For example:
My favourite game is Thunderstruck. I only play this game at 5 coins per
spin, meaning wagering options are $0.45, $0.90, $0.90, $2.25, $4.50, $9,
$11.25, $22.50, $45 and $90 per spin. On my budget, spins higher than $4.50
are out of the qestion (unless I have been really lucky before, but then
only for a few quick spins for the thrill). A bet of $4.50 may sometimes be
within reach, but I often don't feel comfortable wagering that much money on 1
spin. When I play at $0.45 and get lucky, winnings are still rather small. So, usually
I play at $0.90 or $2.25, depending on how high my balance is. If my
starting balance is $0.90 x 40 = $36 or less, I play at $0.90 per spin. If
my balance is above that, I play at $2.25 per spin. This ensures that I can
always play at least 40 hands before my balance is empty, giving a good
estimate of "the mood of the game". When a game does well, your
balance will be well above your starting balance after those first
(balance/40) spins. If it isn't, quit that game and find another, or come
back later.
The most important thing to go on when deciding what wager to play at,
should be your gut feeling. If you
increased your wager and don't feel comfortable spinning the wheel, put it
back to the lower wager right away. Else you will feel worse and worse if
you lose, and will want to try and make up for any losses by keeping your
wager higher than usual. Some games have small chances at big prizes. Those
games should be played at lower wagers to spread risk.
The same goes for the decision to keep on playing or stop: as soon as any
game makes you feel uncomfortable because you are losing too much, stop!
When you started with a $100 balance and played 44 spins (the whole
amount in 100/2.25), the balance you have left after those spins are your
winnings only.
You have wagered your initial $100 balance and your current balance is what
you won in return for that wager. If you think the game is doing well and
want to play more, remember you are wagering your winnings. The fact that
you have winnings, means you beat the odds of the casino. Be proud of them
and hold on to them! The casino would of course very much want them back,
yet you want to keep on playing because you feel lucky in your game. What do
you do?
You have 2 options at this point. The first thing you should do is decide what the amount is you want to
withdraw: which part of your winnings
you want to keep, no matter what happens, and which part you'd like to wager
again to see if you're lucky (if you want to continue playing at all;
remember that quitting is always
an option!). The safest thing to do is to immediately withdraw the amount
you want to hold on to.
Go to "Bank", click "Withdrawal" and enter this amount.
When you are finished, return to the casino and play on with the rest (if
you decided to keep some) of your balance.
If you aren't sure how much you should withdraw, go ahead and withdraw
everything but the amount needed for another 10 spins. In 10 spins, you'll
know if your luck has ended or continues. If it continues, use the same
strategy again: redeem part and play on with the rest. If you later decide
you want to try just a few more spins, or want to try playing a different
game, you can always put (part of) your withdrawal back into your account. I
strongly recommend not doing this though. As I said: the fact that you won
means that you beat the casino. Don't give them a chance to win back what is
now your money!
But I want to keep on playing!!!
Of course there may be a day that you really have nothing better to do, and
you are in the mood to gamble. After all, watching those rolls spin is fun!
Fortunately the casino's have a very nice solution for this: low wagers!
Stay at the casino you just played at, or try another casino, but play with
no more than $10. Play a game like "Carnaval", "What a
Hoot" or "Truck Stop" (if available) at $0.09 per spin. At
that rate you can play on for ages, even if you lose, or still win some nice
cash if you're lucky!
I deposited all I had to spare, and lost it all! What should I do?
Don't let it come that far! don't deposit everything at once, or with just
one casino. If one casino won't let you win, try another. If you already
lost all you had to spare, don't spend money you can't afford to lose
trying to win it back! Wait until you have some money to spare before
playing again.
Remember that your odds of winning don't improve by losing. In fact, losing
may get you frustrated and impatient, which actually increases your chances
of losing even more! Take a deep breath, close your casino software, and
only come back to try your luck again when you have some funds to spare.
Now all that's left for me to say is: Good
luck!
