Bonus Terms and Conditions
When it sounds to good to be true....is
it?
All casino's you find on this website offer you free bonuses when you join,
deposit and/or lose. Below are 2 examples so you know what to expect. You
can find detailed information about the different bonuses available and
their requirements with each individual casino (on he left), under
"Promotions". On the bottom of this page you'll find some help on
how to know if you have met your wagering requirements.
Ruby Fortune welcome bonus
When you join, you receive a welcome bonus. The amount of this bonus depends
on the welcome bonus option you choose (see Ruby Fortune - Promotions for
more info). If you choose the 125% bonus option, you have to wager the
amount of your initial deposit + your bonus 18x before you can
redeem. For the 200% bonus this requirement is even 25x.
In numbers:
You decide you only want to play slots, so take advantage of the 200%
welcome bonus (more free money). You deposit $50, so your account is
credited with $50 + $200 bonus = $250.
You then have to wager $250 x 25 = $6,250 before you can withdraw
your balance. $6,250 may sound like (and is) a lot, but the good news is
that you reach it a lot faster than you think. And even if you wager small
amounts per spin, it doesn't matter if you take a year to meet your wagering
requirements. Whenever you have wagered the $6,250 whatever is in your
account at that time is yours to do with as you please.
Remember that if you take advantage of the 200% bonus offer, you have
to play slots only or your bonus will be void. After you have either
no balance left, or have met your wagering requirements and have redeemed,
you can play all the games you want.
Special bonus offers
Several times a month, both Spin Palace and Ruby Fortune have bonus
offers. These offers vary from cash back if you lose (usually 50% of what
you lost) to 100% deposit bonusses. You have to make a minimum deposit
(often $20) to be able to receive this bonus.
Cash back bonusses
Say the promotional period was 5 days, and you'd receive 50% of your losses
back. Each day you deposited $20, but you were unlucky and never won
anything. After the 5 days, you'll have lost $100. You then fill out their
form (which can be accessed through the link in the email you received) and
within 1-2 hours (usually within a few minutes) you'll receive your free $50
bonus in your account.
Deposit bonusses
You'll receive an email that says that on your next deposit, you'll receive
a 100% bonus. The email will tell you how much the minimum is to qualify for
this offer, but will also tell you a maximum (usually $50, more if you're
VIP). You then make a deposit, say $25, and fill out the form. Within 1-2
hours (usually within a few minutes) you'll receive a free $25 bonus,
leaving you with an account balance of $50.
"Yippie! Off to the bank!"
Well, that's the thing, unfortunately you can't do that. First, you'll have
to wager this $50 15x (=$750 wagered for regular players) or 10x (=$500
wagered for VIP players). These amounts are true for both the examples
above. Whatever is left after that (whether it's $1 or $1000) is yours to do
with as you please (either redeem, or keep it to play more later).
For example:
You deposit $25 and get a $25 bonus, so you start with a $50 balance. You
play different games at $1 per spin. Your balance will go up and down, and
in the end you have spinned the wheels 600x when your balance is at $200.
You are a regular player (not a VIP). You then have 2 options:
1. Take advantage of your bonus
To take advantage of your bonus, you have to wager $50 x 15 = $750 before
you can redeem. After 600 spins at $1 each you have wagered $600 so
far. So, if you want to keep your bonus, you have to wager another $150
before you redeem.
Keep in mind that after these additional spins (150 more spins if you're
playing at $1 each) your balance could be anywhere from $50 (if you were to
win nothing at all on each spin) to $... (anything really; there is no limit
on how much your balance can go up). You have to decide for yourself if this risk is worth it for
you. If not, there's always option 2.
2. You redeem now and lose your bonus
In the example above, you decide you don't want to risk losing your $200, so
you prefer to redeem right away. You redeem your balance, after which you'll
receive an email that you have not met your
wagering requirements yet. They will tell you that the amount you withdrew is
added back to your account, but that you can email them if you prefer to
withdraw and lose your bonus. You email them. Your $200 will be removed from
your account and you will receive your $200 - your bonus of $25 = $175.
In general, keep playing if you're near your wagering requirements (still
need to wager less than 1-2 times the amount of your bonus). If you get
lucky really soon in your play, it may be wiser to throw away your bonus and
take what you have now.
How do you know if you have met your wagering requirements?
There are 3 different ways to find out:
1. Contact the casino's live support helpdesk and ask
This is definately the easiest option, but keep in mind that if you keep
asking these people about your wagering requirements, they may not like
that.
2. Keep track yourself
To make sure you don't have to ask support about your wagering
requirements all the time, you can play with a piece of paper in front of
you. The software helps you with this by means of the button
"stats" in your casino screen. When you are done playing a game,
click the button stats and you'll see the amount of spins you made that
session. Write that number down with the wager you played at (for example:
if you made 158 spins at $0.90 each, put down "158 x 0.9").
If you change your wager in the game (you decide you'd rather play at
$0.45), remember to first go to stats, write down the amount of spins you
played and the wager you played at. Then click on "Reset", go back
to your game, change your wager and continue your play. At the end of your session,
look up your amount of spins again and write them down (say you made another
84 spins). Your piece of paper should then say something like "158 x
0.9 + 84 x 0.45".
When you're done playing, you can now easily find out if you have met your
wagering requirements. Grab your calculator and type in the wagers you made.
In our example:
158 x 0.9 + 84 x 0.45 =
142.20 + 37.80 = 180
So, you know you have now wagered $180, and know how many spins you still
have to play before you can withdraw your balance.
Another way to do this is by "turfing". Again, put a piece of
paper in front of you. When you start playing a game, write down the wager
you play at (in our previous example, the piece of paper will just say
"0.9" right now). Then, for each 10 spins you make at that wager,
put down a "turf". After 80 spins your piece of paper will say
"0.9 IIII III". Continue playing 20 spins at a
$0.45 wager per spin and your piece of paper will look like this:
0.9 IIII III
0.45 II
When you're done playing, calculate your total again. Per wager, count the
"turfs".
0.9 IIII III = 8 turfs
0.45 II = 2 turfs
You know the value of each turf is 10x your wager (in this case, 10 x 0.9
and 10 x 0.45).
0.9 IIII III = 8 turfs x $9 = $72
0.45 II = 2 turfs x $4.50 = $9
Your total wager at this time is $81.
This method is especcially handy if you switch between games a lot, so you
don't have to write down your stats in numbers all the time. The game also
helps you with this: when you click the button "Expert" in your
screen, it enables you to play 10 (or larger amounts of) spins at a time.
This way you know you can place 1 turf (or more when you play more spins at
a time) on your piece of paper each time your spins are complete.
3. Just redeem and see what happens
If you get paid, you met your requirements. If your withdrawal gets added
back to your balance, you didn't. This is definately the fastest way, but of
course not as effective as the methods above (it can be quite frustrating if
you keep withdrawing and your balance gets added back each time).
I myself prefer to use option 2, but have to admit I sometimes use option 1 when I lose
count and didn't play much yet, or 3 when I lost count but am pretty
confident I met the wagering requirements (if it gets added back, I then
contact support for more info).
